William The Conqueror

Hailed as an ”instant classic” on its initial release in March 2021, William The Conqueror’s third album is a record of short, sharp shots to the arm. Fuzzy college rock with chops, one foot lingering menacingly over the distortion pedal. Recorded in LA at the infamous Sound City Studios, the trio rattled through the album’s ten tunes at a breakneck speed, capturing the energy and chaos of their live performances, drawing comparisons to Nirvana, Built to Spill, Buffalo Tom and The Marshall Tucker Band.

A first anniversary reissue on translucent green vinyl is timed to coincide with the publishing of Ruarri Joseph’s debut novel, “William The Conqueror”.
